Khalsa Heera Jantri is the name of the calendar adopted by Sikhs. This calendar is named after Guru Nanak, the founder of sikh religion and year of birth of Guru Nanak Dev ji (1469 CE) is considered as the first year of this calendar. The Nanakshahi New Year starts on Sangrand of Chet month, which means that 14th March 2019 is the new year date according to the Khalsa Heera Jantri and the year 551 will start on this date.
